Luis A. Hernandez
Luis A. Hernandez is a Senior Associate at LDDC, practising housing law, with a focus on condominium law, co-operative housing law, residential tenancy law, and related litigation and advisory work. He represents condominium corporations, co-operatives, developers, landlords, and property management firms, and regularly appears before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Condominium Authority Tribunal.
Luis received his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2016 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
He is an active leader within the condominium industry, serving as a Director of the Canadian Condominium Institute (Windsor-Essex Chapter) and previously co-chairing CCI National’s Advertising, Resources, and Communications Committee. Luis is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and a contributor to publications on condominium law and multi-residential housing.
Beyond his practice, Luis serves as a Director of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, supporting the advancement and representation of Hispanic legal professionals in Canada. Fluent in Spanish, Luis brings an additional layer of accessibility to his work with LDDC’s Spanish-speaking clients and industry partners.
